The Islamic calendar system operates on lunar observations, meaning that the declaration of a new month depends on human sightings of the moon. This aspect introduces variability and makes it unsuitable for precise computer calculations.

iman Pro utilizes an arithmetic Islamic calendar, which is an approximation of the true calendar. Consequently, it may not be as accurate as calendars declared by local authorities, as these can vary from one region to another.

However, the app offers a manual correction tool for the calendar. This feature can be found in the app settings, allowing users to adjust the current date by adding or subtracting one day.

There are several reasons why you might not receive notifications on your Android device:

  1. Do Not Disturb or Airplane Mode is enabled.
  2. System or app-specific notifications may be turned off.
  3. Power-saving or data settings could be blocking apps from fetching notifications.
  4. Outdated apps or operating system software can cause apps to freeze or crash, preventing notifications from being delivered.

Notification issues can happen unexpectedly, and different device manufacturer comes with different Android variant with its own set of device management. Pinpointing the exact cause can be very challenging.

But in general, let’s focus on items (2) and (3)

For item (2)

Please check Android notification settings for iman Pro

Make sure everything is allowed and enabled
Enable Azan Channel and Location is optional

For item (3)

Review your battery-saving settings. Some Android variants aggressively terminate the background notifications process to reduce battery usage.

Battery Saver Mode is a frequent cause of notification issues. Additionally, ensure that you’re not using a battery-saving app that might block app notifications when your battery is low.

Ensure that you haven’t restricted iman Pro from running in the background. If notifications from iman Pro are not coming through, it may be because the app is not permitted to run in the background. iman Pro needs to operate in the background for those notifications to function properly.

You can refer here on how to disable those optimizations for each Android manufacturer: https://dontkillmyapp.com/
